I have not seen many episodes since it has just started here in Cyprus so this is only my opinion for the moment. I think that Marianna de la Noche is not so bad. The song and the music is great and only the fact that Angelica Rivera, Alma Muriel and Cesar Evora play in it, i think it s good. Delia Fiallo telenovelas are always so great so i hope this one will be too. Cesar Evora is much better than in Entre el amor y el odio, where he was very very bad....I remind you that i ve only watched the first episodes...i ll come back later for further comments...
Televisa has made a great job sgain, producing this telenovela. Well it can't be compared to Alguna Vez Tendremos Allas or to La Mentira II but it is very good. Let's not forget that Alejandra Barros is a newcomer, it is her first leading role in a telenovela and i think she is doing quite well. Even if she lacks a bit of energy at some scenes, like the ones where Mariana has lost her mind, she is generally good. Actresses like Angelica Rivera, Maria Rojo, Alma Muriel, Patricia Reyes Spindola or Patricia Navidad have made, as usual an excellent job. But I think that one of the best actress is Adriana Fonseca, who shows us for the first time, how good actress she can be. The only mistake in the female cast is Marjorie de Sousa who is just beautiful but nothing more....In the male cast there are of course some excellent actors like Cesar Evora, who is just great after the horrible role in Entre el amor y el odio. But also Roberto Blandon and Sergio Acosta are very good. The main male characters lack a little bit of energy like Jorge Salinas, who is just good but nothing more nothing less, or Rene Strickler. Jose Carlos Ruiz, in one of his worst performances in his carreer lacks of acting. If we come to the plot it has many lacks too but the story and the characters are touching. One of the good of the plot is the action in every scene... but let's not forget that it is a Delia Fiallo novela, so how can it be bad? Finally the music is amazing and Salvador Mejia Alejandre has made a good job. We hope we could see more of those novelas on our screens. Basically, a good novela.
