Telemundo es mejor que Univision al menos las novelas son differentes y no la misma lloradera de las de Univision esas si son aburidas y predectibles siempre eslo mismo. Pero si estoy de acuerdo co la opinion de Gitanas no estan buena como podria aver cido. La historia tenia potencial que no supieron desarroyar. La mejor de todas es PASION DE GAVILANES. I love that novela the best ever.

I think this novela is really good. Me and all my friends agree it's good. It's boring at the first week but after when all the passion and heat started between Salome and Sebastian it got really good. I think this is the best novela since El clon. I think Prisionera sucks because it is too long, it goes over the same thing over and over.

I think this novela is great and for all those who say that it is boring why is it that the novela did so good in ratings. Esta novela si me conmeve. La pasion entre Salome y Sebastian y el odio entere Victoria y Jovanka and much more are what make this novela great.

Es la mejor telenovela que he visto en mucho tiempo, la calidad de los actores es excelente.... al contrario de las telenovelas de Univision que con la revoltura de acentos, resulta una mezcla increible, ya estaba harta de telenovelas como Gata Salvaje, Rebeca y Angel Rebelde por mencionar algunas, bien hecho Telemundo.

I can't believe that there are people who don't like this novela. The story is very intriging and emotional, although there are part of it that can get anoying at times like jovanka over doing her part. I love the setting in which it takes place, and I think that telemundo did a fabolous gob when they chose Ana de la Reguera to play the part of Salome. She is the most beautiful, sexiest, hispanic I've ever seen. I recently learned the spanish language and I am now getting familiar with the hispanic culture and I could assure everyone that Latin girls are the hottest.

WOW! Esta novela es lo mejor que he visto en todas las novelas. Y los actores son lo mejor. Me gusta el teme de la novela pero lo que me gusta mas es que es un amor proibido, apasionado y que mas. Me encanta la novela y siganle haci... Me encanto todo siguan haci porque yo creo que las novelas que hacen telemundo alas 9 son las mejores que Univision. GOOD JOB TELAMUNDO!

Look this telenovela is good it has a nice story line and great actors... you shouldn't bad mouth this telenovela, i believe that telemundo's aim is to capture more of the youth. it's great for young adult. it has everything that they may dream of. there's true love, betrail, love triangles, secrets.. i mean don't you want to know which of those girls is rafael's? huh? there are many opportunities for this telenovela to trive. soo many story lines to see. and remember it has only started not to long ago.. the writters have to but up suspense... so all in all it's a good novela.. and as time goes by it'll get better.

Gitanas es muy chevre!, los actores desempeñan muy bien sus papeles y la trama es interesante y pegajosa. Es una de las mejores novelas q he visto y por supuesto Manolo es un amor.

Well I have read on the comments above mostly negative aspect of the Telenovela "Gitanas" I think that if you put yourself in the telenovela then you will get to see how intresested is the life of the Gitanos and how Non gitanos use to NON_LIKE the Gitanos and i am not quite sure if this is a real life stroy but if that is so then I will feel very ashame of the normal people thinking that they are better than others. I think that this sory is even trying to teach us that we are not suppose to judge other becuase of thier ethnic or color but the way they are and treat others.

A mi la verdad no me gusta ver novelas pero Gitanas capto mi atencion. Nunca habia visto vestuarios tan interesantes ni muchachas tan guapas. Siempre son las mismas mujeres latinas con los cabellos tenidos de rubio y ya me tienen harto las chicas asi. Me parece bien que Telemundo por fin saque algo diferente y mas exotico. Prisionera me parece una babosada. La vieja ridicula de Gabriela Spanic me da verguenza. Tiene voz de bruja y cara de sufrimiento. Esa si es la peor mamelucada que he visto en mi vida.

Gitanas es una novela pesima y sin sentido. Telemundo ya no sabe aser novelas. Univision y Telefutura son lo maximo, ayi tiene novelas como Mujer De Madera, Rubi, Corazones Al Limite, Angel Rebelde, y Amor Real. Esas si sons novelas, no como Gitanas, Prisionera, y Ladron De Corazones. La unica novela que valio la pena de ver era Amor Descarado, pero despuse de eso las novelas se a vuelto pesimas y tonterias. Prefiero ver Amor Real que ver esta novelita.

I think this novela is wonderful. I has alot of passion in all the story lines. Most of the novelas now a days are typical and predictable. But his one is different because the story is not based on the he rich, she's not story. and the fact that they mixed the eras. That creativity. Very original. Finally!!!

Gitanas is a refreshing change from reality TV. A beautiful setting, talented actors, a good story, and a look at the past make this a show worth watching. Telemundo is offering shows that cable and network TV can't begin to beat. Gitanas is a favorite of mine. Gracias, Telemundo!

I dont only think i know this soapopera is the best ever especially whith saul lizaso y dolores heridia, ana y manolo. this novela is so romantic and it leaves space for some humor too i think is the best telemundo has done and who doesnt watch it they dont know what there missing!!!

Gitanas is great. It's as good as Pasion de Gavilanes. The story is different. If you watched it from the begining you'll understand the concept of this telenovela. As for Telemundo if you haven't know it beat Univision in its telenovela. One thing that Univision does not have is caption in English like telemundo has. As for Gitanas its getting better and better. I give it a four stars.

Gitanas es una versión copiada de "Romané", que se hizo en Chile hace tres o cuatro años, que por cierto fue muy buena acá... no sé por qué se hizo esta otra versión, y sea esta la que se exporta y no Romané, la versión original.

The last spanish soap I saw was Mari Mar but when I startes seeing the comercials for Gitanas it caught my attention and I have been hooked ever since. The actors are great and the storyline keeps you guessing.

Gitanas is like El clon, it has drama, action and you'll never guess what's gonna happen next. All the other shows is only love and way too dramactic, this show has turning points twisted endings and always leave you guessing!

I am enjoying "Gitanas". It has good actors and we can learn some interesting history about Gitanos with all information we get on the net and other phorum posters. For me it is a thumbs up.

I have been watching novelas my whole life and most of them were on Univision. the thing with Telemundo is that their novelas are sooooooo long. i have to agree that they do have original ideas, but they do not actualize them well on screen. Their novelas look visually appealing, but to carry on a good story you have to make sure that the directing and acting is good. After seeing an episode of Gitanas, i realized i would never want to see it again because of what I mentioned above.

I love this novela. The story moves quickly and there is a lot of action and the beautiful people to look at. There is really a nice story line. I know there are a few inaccuracies - no real gypsy would wear such revealing clothing. But I don't think things have to be totally accurate to be entertaining.

A mi si me gusta Gitanas, a pesar de que tiene algunos "detalles" y en ocasiones me enoja como todos se dejan dominar por Dona Victoria, Drago y la pasividad de Salome. Telemundo esta haciendo muy buen trabajo presentando telenovelas atractivas e interesantes. Asi que yo voy a seguir viendo Gitanas porque me gusta su elenco, el tema y las grandes actuaciones que hacen que uno deteste a los villanos y disfrute de todo lo que esta sucediendo...

This is one of the best "novelas" I have watched in a long-time. Telemundo novelas are the best because they go deeper than the boy-meets-girl, boy-loses-girl, boy-gets-girl back that the "other" chain seems to produce. The story line has everything... compassion, intolerance, racism, love, forbidden passion, etc. A very artistically well-done love scene between Saul Lisazo and Dolores Heredia (incredible acting). It's super!

I just wanted to say !WELL DONE TELEMUNDO! best novela i've ever seen romantic, dramatic and very interesting, the part of the novela that i liked the most was "DOLORES HEREDIA Y SAUL LIZASO" they make such a cute couple and I love that at the end they had a baby, they look so cute but the thing that I always want from novelas is that they should make like one year or two years went by and show us what happens to all the characters, like they did in TE VOY A ENSENAR A QUERER but this channel and this novela were great. KEEP IT UP TELEMUNDO, GREAT JOB.

Well Love this novela. Every night I was glued to my television screen, from 9 to 10 pm. Not many novelas can capture an audience like the way Gitanas did. It was a different story with characters that u can relate to. Their stuggles and hardships are actually things that u can beleive in, unlike the novelas on Univision tht repeat the same story. I LOVE GITANAS!!!

A mí me encantó esta telenovela. Yo viví en España y en una ciudad de una gran población gitana, y aunque hoy en día no viven en campamentos asi ni en tribus asi, tenemos que reconocer que la novela es de otra época. Me encantó la trama, la historia, y los personajes!! Fue la novela que me hizo cambiar de Univision a Telemundo!!!

Considero que si no es la mejor es entonces una de las mejores en muchos anos y he visto cantidad de telenovelas argentinas, venezolanas, mejicanas, peruanas, colombianas. Esta telenovela ha tenido una actuacion magistral de todos los actores incluyendo a los actores nuevos o jovenes, tambien un vestuario y produccion excelente, pero quisiera comentar en mi humilde opinion que Telemundo no apoyo lo suficiente a este equipo como concidero que se merecian pues la cadena Univision apoya mas a sus actores y digo esto a pesar de preferir a Telemundo, pero creo que las verdades hay que decirlas. Por ultimo quiero decirles a todo el equipo de GITANAS que no escuchen los comentarios negativos de estas personas que estan a favor de Univision y telefutura. Yo les deseo de todo corazon muchos exitos en todo los proyectos nuevos a cada uno de los que participaron en GITANAS por permitirme disfrutar de esta telenovela ESPECTACULAR, GRACIAS.

I think Gitanas is an interesting soap opera it has alot of romance especially when it comes to Sebastian i think is very attractive and a great actor and also Magdalena she is my favorite actress because she is always so kind and very pretty I also think they should have dressed less provocative because it's kind of like they have a double standard on there views being gypsy women.

Although there were flaws in this novela, the story of Juan, Jovanka and Rafael was superb. The acting was marvelous, and these three characters will never be forgotten by anyone who watched the show.

I really enjoyed Gitanas htough some of the acting was cheesy the plot was great. It was novela with a social commentary "edutainment" However I do feel that they should have researched the culture a bit more. Undoubtly it is a step forward with real issues, and it was fun. It challenges alot of paradigms in different cultures, like el cura and Jovanka take that one for controversy! Whoa it was hot and passionate. The last novela I saw was Cuna de Lobos... all the plots seem to to be the same in other Novelas like Rubi basically crap! Viva Gitanas!!!

I've ben watching it since nomvember, when it started but recently nothing happens. There are a lot of secrets audience already knows and nobody talks about them, they should have kept them secret... for example Rafael daughter issue have taken like 3 weeks but they are not gonna tell.... I hope this is ending... because I will definitely quit it.

I am not into spanish or english novellas AT ALL but i ended up watching prisionera one day and got kind of hooked thats when i saw the preview for Gitanas, i have to say i watched it from start to finish and it was GREAT i no longer watch any novelas, nothing compares to that, i am not a soap opera kind of person i swear but gitanas had me on the edge of my seat sometimes, the acting was suberb and i think the story was great! i am sad it is over and i have not been able to find anything on tv to fit that spot.

Es la pesima novela que eh visto en toda mi vida. primero un capitulo se hace una hora para mi y la verdad salome se me hace muy tonta y mosca muerta. y sevastian q puedo decir tiene un pesimo look que hasta da lastima, y luego le roban camara alos dos jovanca y juan. eso no es nada bueno por que la verdad al principio me dio mucho entusiasmo q tuvieran un pueblo, actores, vestuarios y todo colorido pero ahora es una lastima y dejava mucho q decear. y si les gano el amor real. pero tengo q reconoser que tiene lo suyo la entrada. los creditos y el tema musical fue lo unico que me animava para ver gitanas, o mejor dichi amoladas.

Hola, soy chilena y el año 2000 vi "Romané", que es la historia de la que sacaron ésta de "Gitanas". Acá afortunadamente las actuaciones siempre fueron sólidas en la novela (aunque quien encarnaba a Rafael Dominguez era poco creible a ratos) y aquí la telenovela marcó muy buena sintonía... Aun no ha llegado la historia "Gitanos" para hacer las comparaciones, pero me parece que las novelas de telemundo que he visto son bastante sobreactuadas. Acá se recuerda con mucho cariño a Romané y créanme... cuando se emita la novela en Chile, se comentará bastante en este sitio. Ya sea para amarla o destrozarla. Sin términos medios.

I liked very much GITANAS,the actors were great but the only thing i disliked in this novela was Herendira who i think it wasn't such a bad person but she couldn't understand that sebastian will always love salome and i also disliked victoria because she always tryed to manipulate her sons and her favourite nephew. in this novela my favourite actrice was mariana gaya-maria sashenka. this novela was a great lesson for us because she showed us de differences between our culture and gypsies's culture.

like this telenovela and i think this is the best one. I like all that gipsy still, and music and story... But my favorite caracters are Jovanka and Huan.... I think that them story is the most powerfull and impossible than others.. And i like Saul Lisazo :)

Soy una chica española y deseo manifestar mi opinión sobre la telenovela "Gitanas". Hace ya como unos 3 meses que empezó a emitirse esta telenovela en un canal local de mi ciudad, Barcelona. Desde el primer día que la ví, me impactó muchísimo y sin duda creo que es la MEJOR producción que he visto en mis 18 años de vida. Yo no soy gitana, pero tengo muchos amigos que sí, ya que vivo en un famoso barrio de gitanos de España y he ido al colegio con gitanos. Esta novela, que se sigue emitiendo actualmente, es tan, tan hermosa, que me siento parte de ella. Pero si tengo que destacar algo me decanto por la impresionante historia de Juan y Jovanka, que sin duda son mis preferidos. Para mí la novela son ellos. Los dos son guapos y encantadores, además de hacer una pareja perfecta. Bueno, finalizo diciendo que me encanta que nombren a Santa Sara, ya que yo me llamo así. "Gitanas", es lo mejor del mundo.

This is, by far, the best telenovela I have ever seen. The acting and chemistry betwen Saul Lisazo and Dolores Heredia would win an oscar hands down. The love scene between the two was artistically and beautifully done. It brought home the culmination of their love. The social themes behind the novela -- love experienced by a priest for a woman, the snatching of children, and racism were brought to light in a place where mostly you see people crying, crying, and crying. The acting by all was superb, no one overacted. I missed the first few, but once I saw it I was hooked till the end. Kudos to Telemundo and Argos!!! The best ever!!!

Yo soy chilena, y tuve la oportunidad de ver la versión original "Romané". Debo decir que esa es una de las mejores telenovelas que el país ha producido, en cuanto a calidad del guión, credibilidad de las actuaciones, y sobre todo, por su respeto a la realidad gitana local. Temo que cualquier adaptación caiga en la caricaturización y en falsedades. Romané fue concebida como una oportunidad de destruir mitos y de restaurar la dignidad del pueblo gitano. Falló en ocasiones, pero a la larga, fue un excelente producto. Mañana empieza la transmición de Gitanas en mi país, y espero tener la oportunidad de verla, para así constatar si las malas críticas son o no fundadas.

Creo que esta es una de las mejores novelas que he visto. Es original, tiene una buena historia, personajes complejos e interesantes y lindos paisajes. Definitivamente es una de las mejores novelas de los últimos tiempos, además Saúl Lisazo como el Padre Juan esta divino!!

Gitanas es una produccion chilena, que en ese pais al ser transmitida tenia el nombre de Romané. TVN en Chile vendió los derechos al extranjero, y perdónenme que les diga, pero es una muy mala adaptación de la original Romané, esa si que fue buenísima.

I say that GITANAS is the best novel that I ever seen.My favourite characters in the novel are SALOME and SEBASTIAN.I think about GITANAS every time and my friends are fed up of me talking about it especially SALOME and SEBASTIAN. I even use their names in my book and have stucken pictures of themm all around my room and on my planner. I think that GITANAS is a romantic tradgedy sort of film and that the whole cast are great and the directer the producer and the coriographer. ANA DE LA REGUERA AND MANOLO CARDON are such great actors and actresses.

esta novela me encanta. the story line was great and oiginal. the actors and actress were really good. the chemistry between sebastian and salome, and juan and giovanka was really good. there was a lot of passion and heat. i have been watching novels all my life. i use to watch them in univision but hen i switch to telemundo because the story lines in univision were basically all the same. telemundo does great novelas with original themes. i got most of my friends interested in gitanas. (of course an advantage that gitanas had was that manolo cardona is so cute). i love the clothes it was very extravagant and the jewlery was awsome.
