Summary of Los Plateados
This is the historical novela which takes place in the states of Guanajuato and Taxco in Mexico during the late 1800s to the early 1900. Los Plateados is about the bandits who call themselves Los Plateados, which means the silver plated ones. The band consists of three brothers and a sister. The head of the band is Gabriel. He is also the oldest of his brothers. He falls in love with Camila, the wife of Emilio Gallardo, a strong willed man who also sleeps around with many women, including Camila's older sister Luciana. Camila is also in love with Gabriel, although she is married to Emilio. Camila is forced to marry Emilio because her family needs financial support that Emilio can provide. On the day of Camila's wedding she is kidnapped by Gabriel and taken to the woods. Although nothing happens between them, Gabriel sets Camila free. After that encounter Camila and Gabriel begin falling for each other. The purpose of Los Plateados is to bring justice to the ones who are opposed. Los Plateados is like a group of Robin Hood. The other purpose of Los Plateados is to revenge for Ximena's father, who died many years ago.

Los plateados is a bland, boring remake of the brilliant Chilean novela "Los pincheira". Sadly, Los plateados doesn't come anywhere near the vibrant, exciting novela it's based on. Despite having some great actors on board - Humberto Zurita, Mauricio Islas, Domenika Paleta - and pretty costumes and scenery, for anyone who has seen Los pincheira, they will find Los plateados a bitter disappointment. When I have tried to watch Los plateados I keep seeing a pathetic attempt to remake Los pincheiro, "only better", taking all the bits they like and can make interesting and adding what they like, even if it doesn't make sense. I suppose if one has never seen Los pincheira, Los plateados might be okay, but having seen the original and the brilliant acting of Francisco Reyes (Miguel), Tamara Acosta (Matilde), Paz Bascunan (Trini), and Alvaro Morales (Martin) and seeing the effort that went into Los pincheira (the people playing Muslims went to classes to learn the language, customs, cooking, etc) I can't watch Los plateados and think it's a good novela. This is just another feeble attempt by Telemundo with a successful Chilean novela. Too bad more people in the US don't bother watching TVChile to see the originals.

VEAMOS SI ES TAN TELEMUNDO COMO EN TVN DE CHILE...TODAVIA NO HE ALCANZADO EL CONFORMISMO PORQUE ESTA TELESERIE ES LA TERCERA QUE TELEMUNDO COMPRA SUS GUIONES, LAS OTRAS SON "AMOR DESCARADO" QUE EN CHILE MURIO PEYUCO O "GITANAS" QUE TUVO MODIFICACIONES TAMBIEN, PERO BUENO.. I think "Los Plateados" is a great soap opera to watch. I like the scenery and customs and of course the acting. I like the supporting actors and actresses who act as muslims.

Los plateados es un remake de la telenovela los pincheira que exibio tvn chile el 2004 con gran audiencia televisiva su personaje mas emblematico fuen el de maria "la gata" interpretado por la actriz adela secall y el papel de matilde a cargo del primer protagonico de tamara acosta. la telenovela promedio rating muy elevados dejando la vara muy alta a las telenovelas en chile. Telemundo se ha convertido en un gran productor de remake de telenovelas chilenas exitosas por ejemplo amores de mercado (amor descarado), romane (gitanas), los pincheira (los plateados) y proximamente estrenara destinos cruzados chile (2004-2005) que tuvo gran audiencia y que telemundo acaba de comprar sus derechos para comenzar a trabajar en esta nueva telenovela que podria protagonizar itati cantoral, gabriel porras o la debutante francisca lema.

Pues LOS PINCHEIRA fue un "western a lo chileno", con mucha emoción. Esperemos que en esta versión comercial no le agreguen cosas como "oh, Lupita, yo te amo" y demás bodrios de novelas mexicanas... Chile deberían YA exportar sus novelas al mundo... obviamente, con otras voces montadas.

Recien acaba de empesar la esta novela Los Plateados y lamento decir que no es buena. La historia es aburrida y pesima. Con solo ver algunas escenas me di cuenta de lo aburrido que es la novela.

A mi me paresia primero q era un falso remake d amor real pero ahora que la veo, pues es original y tiene lo suyo. Me encanta el elenco y mas la historia que es mejor que la anterior Gitanas. La verdad es buena y tiene a la madrastra pisandole los talones. asi que para mi opinion es ta muy bien echa y tiene un gran elenco. Felizidades.
