Summary of Señora Tentacion
The imaginary republic of San Marcos would be paradise were it not for the uneasiness of a town on the verge of rebellion and the plans by revolutionaries to overthrow the 20-year dictatorship of Gen. Bustillos. Bustillos is madly in love with Rosa, the wife of one of his subordinates - a sick obsession that will lead to his eventual downfall. The romantic and nostalgic decade of the '50s is recreated on the small screen in minute detail, underscored by the unforgettable music of Agustin Lara, whose boleros are heard throughout the drama via the voice of Lucía Méndez.

Desgraciadamente hay que aceptar que Lucía Méndez ha tenido fracasos en su carrera y "Señora Tentanción" ha sido uno de ellos junto con "Golpe Bajo" y el antifinal de "Vanessa" en 1982. En México la telenovela fue discretamente cortada pues apenas tenía un 5 por ciento de realización en exteriores y todo lo quisieron resolver en foro, haciendo la trama pesada, tediosa y aburrida y para no desatar la furia de la Méndez y para darle paso a "Guadalupe" de Adela Noriega.

FUE LA PEOR NOVELA DE LA MENDEZ, HORRIBLE PESIMA, FLOJA Y BASTANTE DEBIL LA TRAMA EN MEXICO PASO CUANDO ESTABA VETADA EN TELEVISA, EL DISCO BUENO LE FALTO PROMOCION Y SU VESTUARIO REGIO, PERO LA NOVELA FUE PESIMA Y UN FRACASO TOTAL DE LA MENDEZ; PARECE QUE SE DEJO SEDUCIR POR EL NOMBRE DE TENATACION PERO NADA DE TENTACION PESIMA; LUCIA MENDEZ PARACUA DEMACARADA Y CON UNAS BOLSAS EN LOS OJOS PESIMAS; Y DESPUES SE FUE HACER CIRIGIA Y RETOCAR LA CARA. ISELA VEGA PESIMA EN ACTUACIN LASITMA DE PRODUCCION DE TELEMUNDO QUE LE PAGO 1 MILLON DE DOLARESO QUE HIZO A LA MENDEZ RETIRASE DE LAS TENOVELAS POR CASI 4 AÑOS LO QUE HACE EL DINERO.

Estoy de acuerdo en que es uno de los pocos fracasos que ha tenido Lucía Méndez en su carrera, ya que fue tediosa y lenta en su trama. Su actuación fue buena pero no sufieciente para salvar una telenovela que desde un principio no pudo acaparar la atención del público. La producción musical es de antología, ya que es un disco muy bien hecho y con grandes canciones, solo que muy falto de promoción. Creo que Lucía Méndez con la carrera de diva que a pulso ya se había ganado no tenía que haber grabado este bodrio de telenovela.

No fué la telenovela más exitosa de Lucía, pero se ve bellísima, llena de glamour, canta precioso los boleros, es una historia buena, pero no supieron sacarle provecho, en general a mi si me gustó y le dió un aire diferente a Lucía, se veía BELLISIMA!!!

SOY FANATICO DE ELLA, LA SEÑORA TENTACION, EN MI PAIS PANAMA, FUE MUY EXITOSO, POR QUE AQUI TODOS LOS IDA LA VEIAMOS SUFRIR Y LLORAR, ES UNA NOVELA MUY ORIGINAL DE ELLA, NO ES GRITONA Y CHILLONA TAMPOCO CON TERMINOS OFENSIVO COMO LOS DE MAS NOVELAS DE MEXICO, A MI PARECER AIQUE COMPARAR EL DRAMA COMEDIA Y ACCION NO SIEMPRE LA MENDEZ TIENE QUE SER LA MISMA DE SIEMPRE COMO LOS DEMAS ACTRICES, ELLA FUE ORIGINAL UNA DAMA SEDUCTORA Y BELLA EN ESA NOVELA FELICITO ESA PRODUCCION NO ENTIENDO POR Q UE NO TUVO TAQUILLA PERO D EVES SER UN POCOS ENVIDIOSOS POR PRODUCTORES, LAS CRITICAS HACIA ELLA ES POLITICAS DE TLEVISION Y PRODUCCIÒN. ELLA PARA SERA LA DIVA Y MEJOR ACTRICES NADIE PUEDE COMPETIR CON ELLA EN LA ACTUACIÒN, SI CANTINFLA ESTUVIERA VIVO DARIA OTRAS REFERENCIAS, GRACIAS DESDE PANAMA TE QUEREMOS CON AMOR.....
