Summary of Al Filo de la Muerte
L.A. nurse Tracy (Gabriela Rivero) accidentally watches her cop fiancé (Antonio Escobar) murder a man. Terrified, she seeks help from the Witness Protection Program. They give her a new personality and send her to Mexico City. Tracy (now Mariela) finds work at a hospital run by Francisco (Humberto Zurita), a heart surgeon who has lost his wife and son in the 1985 earthquake. He is a tough employer, but a compassionate doctor. Mariela and Francisco will fall in love, but Sam, her fiancé, eventually tracks her down.

Esta telenovlea pudo haber sido la mejor de 1991 pero el problema fue que alargaron capitulos y eso fue lo que destruyó la historia. La historia es original, una mujer que huye a Mexico con una nueva identidad y buscada por un criminal y acosada por capos de la mafia.

"Dr. Chamberlain" se llamó en Italia, aun retransmitida en canales de provincia. Recuerdo que la dieron en canal 5, a las 3pm en 1991/92 y la repitieron en canal 11 a las 12 del día en 1994... Me acuerdo de una escena en que Gaby RIvero veía una mujer que caía del hospital donde ella trabajaba... y cuando se casaba con Zurita, un carro llegaba y les tiraba una pata de vaca, o algo así. Me sorprende q larrosa haya hecho 1 novela decente (dícese, no vulgar)
