Summary of La Casa en la Playa
The last will and testament of millionaire Angel Villareal
has left his heirs in shock. As a condition to receive the vast fortune they have inherited, his three sons: César, Roberto, and Salvador, and his daughter Paulina, must live together for one year in his house in Acapulco. Don Angel's purpose is to reunite his family, but the way things stand, it seems impossible. Each of them has a life of their own, with no connection whatsoever with the others. César is a materialistic and greedy man who is completely dominated by his wife Mariana. In their pursuit of money and power, they have totally neglected their two children. César becomes enraged when he finds out that Paulina has been named head of the Villareal consortium, which up to this time had been managed by him. To make matters worse, Juan Carlos Cabrera, whom Cesar hates, has been appointed to a high position within the company. Roberto is a self-centered playboy who knows how to do only one thing: spend money. Salvador is a sculptor, and he became an alcoholic when his father separated him from the woman he loved. Paulina knows now that fulfilling her father's dream will be much harder than she supposed. She will have to face a series of seemingly insurmountable obstacles to help her family find happiness and love once more in "The Beach House".
