Summary of Chucho el Roto
Jesus Arriaga, a carpenter, who lives with his mother Doña Luisa and his sister Guadalupe, does the carpentry works in the house of Don Diego de Frizac, where he meets his daughter Matilde. Jesus and Matilde fall in love in spite of the opposition of Don Diego and Carolina, Matilde's sister. Don Diego sends Jesus to the jail, accusing him of robbery. Jesus escapes from the jail along with other prisoners: El Rorro, La Changa and La Fiera. Together they will form a gang of thieves, who will rob from the rich and give to the poor.
