Summary of Cumbres Borrascosas

The action takes place in Yorkshire, England. When Cathy Earnshaw and her brother Hindley were 10 and 16 years old, their father Mr. Earnshaw adopted a little orphaned gypsy boy called Heathcliff and took him to live with them in his mansion "Wuthering Heights". Heathcliff was going to change their lives forever. Mr. Earnshaw described Heathcliff as a gift of God. He grew up with them and became their third brother. Everything was fine until the father passed away and Hindley has thrown Heathcliff to the stables. Growing up alone and in silence, Heathcliff was happy when he saw or when he was near Cathy, a beautiful girl. The two became close friends, but hid it from Hindley. Everything changed when Cathy met the brother and sister Linton, Edgar and Isabella. Through their elegance and attractive personality, Cathy discovered a world of exquisite culture and education. For Lintons, the people like Heathcliff didn't exist and were not even worth a glance. Cathy decides to marry Edgar Linton, and to change her destiny. In the meantime, Heathcliff, desperate, only thinks about taking a revenge on those who destroyed his life and his dreams.
