Summary of La Desconocida
The story is set in Europe in WW II and the character played by Maria Rivas is that of the daughter of a wealthy couple who is in love with Aldo Monti’s character. Carlos Zetina plays the villain, who is interested in getting his hands on Rivas’s character fortune by the way of marrying her. During a bomb raid the girl’s character flees their home towards a shelter, but on their way, the girl gets lost during an explosion and she gets hurt and gets amnesia. Zetina’s character finds the girl and with the help of an evil associate (Escobedo). He pretends to be her fiancé and marries her, making her life miserable. Monti’s character never goes away and after some years she regains her memory, dumps Zetina and his partner and stays happily ever after with Monti.
