After Matilde's mother death, with whom she had the difficult relations, she finds a new job as a governess of Paula, a strange child. The girl is neglected by Pablo, her father, who is very busy with his business, and by her aunts and uncle Miguel. This one is the twin brother of Pablo. Pablo isn't really a widower, because his wife is in the clinic with schizophrenia. All story revolves about a wonderful fountain that Matilde and Luz (Pablo's stepmother) want to use to make the thermal baths. Pablo and Paula are affectionate to Matilde, but Pablo is killed by Mafia and his twin brother takes his place to protect his family. Matilde and Miguel fall in love...
