Es la mejor telenovela mexicana que he visto. Me gusto mucho la historia y las actuaciones de los protagonistas, Kate y Guy. Espero algun dia volver a verla. Para mi tuvo un puntaje de 10.

Linda pareja hicieron Kate del Castillo y Guy Ecker, no? El es brasileño, como yo, pero con talento latino! Mucho romance y muchos tapas entre los protagonista... Me encantaria que la transmitisem otra vez!

This is my favorite novela. I think Kate is fantastic actress. It was intriguing, mysterious, exciting everything a good novela should be. All the actors BECAME the characters they portrayed! I would like to own it as well!

La Mentira was the telenovela that motivated me to learn Spanish so I could follow what was going on. I was so glad I was able to catch it's rebroadcast on Galavision as my familiarity with the language has gotten better. The acting is wonderful, a great story, and the beautiful Kate Del Castillo have made this my favorite of all time.

A very good work again by Kate! Excellent plot (very unusual), very good actors and characters and great music. It has everyhting to be one of the best productions of Televisa. Congratulations.

Fue tal el exito de la mentira, que habia el rumor de que la iban a subir al horario de las 9 pm y que iban a bajar la del Privilegio de amar que no tenia buen ritmo en ese entonces. Apesar del horario de las 5 pm la mentira fue primer lugar, un año despues sucedio lo mismo pero esta ves con Tres mujeres.

Great soap. I remember the scene where Veronica walks into the church (where Virginia and Juan are getting married) and throws the bows over her cousins "blessing" their marriage. Afterwards, Veronica confronts Virginia and Virginia tries to stab Veronica with scissors. Finally, finally! Virginia's web of lies starts falling apart and everyone learns just what kind of a person Virginia is. And the scene where Veronica proves that it was Virginia who caused Demetrio's brother's death (she shows him her V diamon pendant)? I wanted to high five Veronica after she walks out on an astonished Demetrio.

La mentira fue un hitazo de televisa que salio al aire en 1998 que a persar de estar en el horario de las 5 pm tuvo un rating de 30 puntos diarios que es muy dificil de alcanzar en este horario y que solo telenovelas como tres mujeres, rencor, apasionado, el noveno mandamiento y amar otra vez han podido lograr.
