Summary of Mi destino eres tu
Andrea Sanvicente is a young lawyer, an intelligent, modern woman with a passion for law and justice. Andrea falls in love with Ramiro, a young man from a wealthy family. After many complications, Andrea and Ramiro get married, but destiny has yet another painful test in store for Andrea: while still on her honeymoon, Ramiro dies, leaving his young bride devastated. Andrea takes refuge in her work and her studies and gets her Master's degree in psychology. Soon, two very different men will enter Andrea's life: Eduardo Rivadeneira and Mauricio Rodríguez. One of them is destined to awaken her heart once more. Mauricio is a superficial young man who has always lived under the shadow of his father, Augusto, a rich and powerful textile merchant. Until the very moment he meets Andrea, he has seen women as mere sexual objects and has never experienced true love. His relationship with Andrea will shatter his pre-conceived notions about women, and open his eyes to a new reality. Eduardo Rivadeneira, like Andrea, is a brilliant young lawyer. They meet when she represents an employee who has been fired without justification from a company which has hired Eduardo to handle its legal affairs. From the moment they meet, they feel strangely attracted to each other. But there are obstacles. A tragic accident has left Eduardo's wife, Emma, in a coma and Eduardo has been forced to assume the role of mother and father to their little girl. Andrea feels that Eduardo's love is forbidden to her. She refuses to destroy a family, a little girl's home. Eduardo, likewise, doesn't have the heart to leave his wife while she is ill. Caught in the unpredictable hands of fate, Andrea, Eduardo and Mauricio are left to wonder what destiny has in store.

De acuerdo con los comentarios anteriores es evidente que esta telenovela pudo o no ser un fracaso (A mi no me gusto en lo mas mínimo) la actuación de Lucero desde luego fue muy buena y su tema musical de la telenovela titulado Mi destino eres tú fué excelente. Pero las malas actuaciones de un gran elenco del que se esperaba mucho mas y los malos mensajes que dejaba esta telenovela como el engaño, la ira, la discrimanacíon de clases sociales, delitos y la desintegración familiar hizo que a mi y seguramente a muchas personas del publico cayera de su gracias no valiendo la pena esta telenovela como se esperara. No me gusto absolutamente en nada!!!

Esta telenovela fue considerda uno de los mas grandes fracasos de televisa por lo pretenciosa de su historia y las malas actuaciones. La ùnica que destaco fue LUCERO en su personaje de mujer moderna.

What a disappointment! I really forward to seeing Lucero in new novelas; however, this one did not have a very good story line. The acting was good by Jorge Salinas and Lucero, but the actual story was pretty slow and boring.

Otro gran acierto del trio Carla Estrada-Lucero-Jorge Lozano Soriano/Carmen Daniels (sus autores Originales). Intrigante, con gran suspenso. Moderna, con espionaje empresarial, gran despliegue de intrigas de poder, dinero, y manejes corporativos. Romatica, con gran variedad de buenos sentimientos: nobleza, bondad, sobriedad, justicia, fraternidad, perdon, y amor. Deslumbrantes escenarios, con lujosas e imponentes mansiones, y exteriores impecables. Excelente.

Mi Destino Eres Tu fue una buena telenovela, quiza no excelente ya que manejaron tantas historias que la gente se revolvia y perdia el hilo de la historia central, sin embargo LUCERO estuvo excelente y tuvo un elenco que dificilmente se reune en una historia, hubo grandes actores hasta en papeles muy pequeños, sin embargo fue triste que no tuviera el exito esperado a pesar de que el raiting fue muuuy bueno. En fin, esperemos que LUCERO vuelva con una mejor historia, aún asi sigue siendo la número uno. Felicidades a LUCERO y compren su nuevo disco: "Cuando sale un Lucero".

Lucero should have thought more carefully in doing this badly scripted novela. There was no chemistry between Jorge and Lucero. Plus there was so many deaths, it was like a blood bath. Such an awful tvnovela.

FUE UN GRAN RETORNO DE LUCERO A LA T.V. DESPUES DE SU INOLVIDABLE "LAZOS DE AMOR". FUE UNA HISTORIA QUE LA VERDAD SI FUE BUENA, A PESAR DE QUE MUCHOS LA CATALOGARON COMO UN FRACASO. EN LO PERSONAL CUENTO CON TODA LA HISTORIA Y ME AGRADO MUCHO SOBRETODO LAS ACTUACIONES DE SILVIA PASQUEL, MARIA SORTE, SILVIA MARISCAL, JORGE SALINAS Y DEMAS ACTORES.
