Summary of Milagro y Magia

After Mexican Revolution, two orphans, Elisa and Pepe, leave the province for the capital city. They try to survive. During the voyage they meet an older boy, Adrian, who takes them to his house. Here lives Macaria, she is an old witch that gathers and exploits the children because she sends them to steal. After some years, Adrian tries to violate Elisa and to save her, Pepe hurts Adrian and they escape to Mexico City. Then they have to separate. Wandering through the streets, Elisa meets Roberto, an acrobat, and his dog. He helps her. With them also are: Don Roque and Dona Rufina, two janitors that will love Elisa as a daughter. Roberto and Elisa love each other, but he is afraid because he is 20 years older than her. In their roaming they find Pepe and they go to work in a little circus. By mistake, Roberto is believed to be Elisa's father, then they lose sight of each other, but Elisa will look for him for many years. Then she meets Carlos Andrade, a theatrical critic who falls in love with her. He offers her to play in the radio and television. She becomes a star of the cinema and she meets a magnate: George Higgins, separated from his wife. She goes to live with him and she becomes pregnant. During a voyage to N. Y., George dies in a plane crash and Elisa remains sole heir. Elisa gives birth to Fabiola. She refuses to marry Carlos because she thinks about Roberto. But later she marries Arturo a swindler. This marriage is a flop. She succeeds in finding Roberto dying in a hospital. Fabiola is now fiancée of Hector, who is Robeto's son and for Elisa the past returns back...

Imposible olvidar esta telenovela que se salio de lo convencional, de lo establecido, la telenovela conto con actores de la talla de OFELIA GUILMAIN, MIGUEL PALMER, FLORINDA MEZA, TONY CARBAJAL, ROBERTO CAÑEDO, LILI INCLAN Y RAFAEL SANCHEZ NAVARRO. la historia comenzaba cuando una actriz empieza a contarle a su chofer o su amigo Carlos la historia de su vida, manejando fuera de la cuidad y asi se remonta hacia atras, los momentos cuando trabajaba en las carpas, aquellas inolvidables canciones interpretadas magistralmante por FLORINDA MEZA... es verdad que a veces la telenovela tenia cosas chespirescas pero era una delicia, no podre olvidar el final... cuando termina de contarle la historia y el tiempo sigue... ellos dos... Roberto y Elisa ya son unos ancianos... extraordinaria telenovela que se apetece volver a ver ante tanta estupides que hay ahorita... no todas..

EN MEXICO SE CRITICÓ MUCHO ESTA TELENOVELA PORQUE FLORINDA MEZA YA MADURA HACIA A UNA JOVEN (ELISA) Y LE LLOVIERON CRITICAS HASTA POR DEBAJO DE LOS CODOS, LA NOVELA TUVO UN EXITO MEDIANO Y HASTA TUVO SU BANDA SONORA QUE SALIO A LA VENTA EN 1991 COMO MILAGRO Y MAGIA VOLUMEN 1, 2 Y 3!!! INTERPRETADA POR FLORINDA MEZA Y ALGUNOS OTROS TEMAS ERAN INTERPRETADOS POR JOSE ANGEL "EL CUERVO" Y HASTA MIGUEL PALMER LE ENTRÓ A LA CANTADA. AUN CON LA GRAN PRODUCCION QUE TENIA LA NOVELA TRONÓ MUY FEO Y FUE CRUELMENTE DESPEDAZADA POR LOS PERIODISTAS DE ESPECTACULOS DE TODO MEXICO.

Muchos han olvidado que esa novela significo el debut de algunas gentes que hoy son estrellas como Susana Sabaleta y algunos mas y también que fue una gran producción muy bien llevada, yo lo viví en persona y aunque en el, papel el productor era Roberto Gómez la que llevo siempre la batuta fue Florinda logrando un producto de calidad que pocas beses se ve en este país. Sin embargo y como también es costumbre la prensa con poco ceso se dedico a criticar a Florinda en lugar de ver el producto resultante del talento y la dedicación, de esa forma en ocasiones inhiben a quienes desean realizar algo diferente, ¿y que si ella decidió actuar en esa novela?¿ acaso su trayectoria no lo justifica de sobra?

Esta novela la vi cuando tenía como 10 u 11 años y me encantó, tanto que aún la recuerdo con mucho cariño y me encantaría volver a verla. Florinda Meza se ha caracterizado por ofrecer products de calidad, porque quién con dos centímetros de frente se atreve a decir que esta novela o "Alguna vez tendremos alas" son malas novelas? Al contrario, se salen de lo común, son historias que si no son originales (perdonen mi ignorancia) al menos son distintas a todo lo que nos presentan hoy día... "Productores" como Juan Osorio y Emilio Larrosa deberían tomar nota y aprender qué ES una novela... Ésto sí es arte, ésto sí vale la pena, no todas esas tonterías de ahora que idiotizan al televidente... Arriba Florinda Meza... Ojalá vuelva a producir novelas y se rodee de gente talentosa como Edith González, como Alexis Ayala, como Tiaré Scanda, como Vanessa Bauche...

Esta novela se puede decir que marco mi vida, cuando vi Milagro y Magia yo solamente contaba con 10 añitos y digo que marco mi vida por que yo al igual que Elisa (Florinda Meza) caí profundamente enamorada de un hombre mayor, que actualmente es mi esposo, ahora tengo 23 años y hasta la fecha no he visto una novela con un guión así, recuerdo que no me perdía ni un solo capítulo me fascinaba verla a solas en mi cuarto sin que nada ni nadie me molestara, de verdad esa novela fue una excelente producción y realmente todo fue de la más alta calidad, me gustaría que la volvieran a pasar.

Esta telenovela es algo sensacional yo tenia 12 años cuando la vi y la verdad qu emaravilla de historia recorrer a traves de canciones y a´nécdotas parte tan importante de la historia de méxico como las carpas los inicios del teatro de la radio y la televisión enmedi de la búsqueda del amor es una maravila y pas e lo que pase florinda meza es un dechado de talento mis agradecimientos SEÑORA.
