As for me, I love Morir Dos Veces! It's very interesting and different. I agree that in some cases the acting is not very good, for example the friend of Martha, her acting is horrible, who gave that girl a role? Maybe she is the producer's friend ... But this is rather the exception from the rule. Overall the acting is great: Irma Lozano is so sweet and beautiful as always, Jose Carlos Ruiz once more proves that he is good both as a villain and as a good character, and Susana Alexander is absolutely gorgeous as a mean "suegra" (mother-in-law), how many of us recognize our own suegras? LOL And of course Eduardo Palomo (may he rest in piece!), he is a diamond of the novela. As for Carina Ricco, well, maybe sometimes we can tell that she is not as experienced as the rest of the cast, but I really like her acting! She acts very natural, and pictures perfectly a sweet girl yet emotionally very strong. I think she was a great choice, I heard another option was Erika Buenfil, well honestly I was glad they've chosen Carina and not Erika. She is beautiful, pleasant to watch and at least we can see the new fresh face. Personally, I'm tired of seeing the same faces over and over again in each novela: same Noriega, same Arambula, etc... Unfortunately, I never heard Carina singing, but I think she could of made a good actress, it's a pity she never made more novelas.. The plot is also very interesting and intriguing, something important happens in each episode. I strongly disagree with the first reviewer who said that the novela is "pesima por si misma", I would say that it's "buena por si misma", regardless of who plays whom and how. I don't know why it wasn't doing good in Mexcio, maybe people in Mexico are more into the classic romantic love stories. Well, I love those too, but don't mind watching something different for a change. I highly recommend this novela! The last thing I want to say is why do I love Jose Rendon's novelas: because people talk with a normal tone and volume of voice in them, nobody is hysterically laughing, or crying, or yelling at each other with mad faces. It's much closer to the real life where we usually don't act like this and more pleasant for eyes and ears. Maybe this exaggerating acting is considered a good acting, but not to me. Generally, if with a normal volume level of your TV the whole street can hear what are you watching, then it's a bad novela and bad acting. If it's quiet and everybody is talking normally and not crying half of the novela, then it's Jose Rendon's novela and it's GOOD!
