Summary of La Paloma
As it says in the novela's title, the heroine is a delicate, kind, pure girl and somewhat melancholic. She is a daughter of a wealthy bank director and attends a school for the girls from high society, maintained by nuns. Here she must undergo the attacks of her cousin (the villain of the story). The young hero of novela is a poor boy who hopes to get a credit from the bank that is directed by her father. The tragedy, solitude and pain, but also the power of will, good intentions and honesty will follow him on his way, until these two will unite and decide to go their way together.

In this soap the main character died in real life so they had to change a lot of things in the story, it was a very sad thing.

Resumen en español: Haciendole honor al titulo, la protagonista es una adolescente delicada, bondadosa, pura y algo melancolica. Es hija de un adinerado director de un banco y concurre a un colegio para niñas bien, regenteado por monjas. Alli debe sufrir los embates de su prima hermana (su contra figura en la historia). El joven protagonista es un muchacho de barrio quien espera un credito de dinero a otorgar por el banco que dirige el padre de ella. La tragedia, la soledad, el dolor pero tambien la fuerza de voluntad, las buenas intenciones y la franqueza estaran en sus caminos, cuando estos se unan y decidan transitalo juntos.

En México, tuvo un raiting bajo y ni siquiera llego a un final, la sacaron del aire abruptamente.

En México tuvo buen Rating y si, salió del aire a una semana de su final... pero fue por que Gerardo murió en su departamento y eso cambió toda la trama de la historia y el productor no quiso terminarla sin él. Muy buena historia.

La Paloma tambien es un remake de Paloma, pero fue una telenovela muy estraña que no tuvo final, entonces hiceron Mi querida Isabel.
