Summary of El Precio de Tu Amor
Gabriela Galván is a young, pretty and talented designer, who lives under the severe oppression of Rodolfo, her father. Gabriela hides the bad relations with her father in order not to make suffer Ana Luisa, her mother, who supports him with timidity, since her husband is dominant over them. Gabriela meets Antonio Rivers, a handsome and intelligent boy who works at the automotive factory as a mechanic. An attraction arises among them that soon will become love. Sandra is a friend of Gabriela and niece of Octavio Rangel, proprietor of an important fine furniture factory. Sandra is willful and frivolous, although in front of her uncle and the rest of the world she simulates to be gentile and affectionate. The "faithful" nana Adelina, just like Sandra, tries to take possession of the inheritance of Octavio, though she is not his blood relative. Fabian San Miguel, handsome and elegant proprietor of a furniture store, tries to conquer Gabriela, but she rejects him since she doesn't like him. Rodolfo thinks that if his daughter marries Fabian, it will insure his future and the future of his business. Antonio saves the life of Octavio, that's why he is thankful to the boy and starts helping him disinterestedly. On the other hand, Sandra will do everything to avoid that her uncle does favors to Antonio, because she is afraid to lose her position. Gabriela starts working at the factory of Octavio as an industrial designer. Fabian becomes jumbled in the project only to be close to her.

Aun puedo recordar a toda mi familia sentandose al televisor alas 9 de la noche de mi pais para ver "El precio de tu amor" sin duda fue una telenovela de lo mas excelente, me gusto el personaje de Eugenia Cauduro, Gabriela no era la tonta pura y virginal protagonista de siempre, Eduardo Santamarina hizo una excelente actuacion me encanto se desempeño en este papel, Alejandro Avila fue un excelente villano, uy! Yadhira Carrilo yo la admiraba pero desde este su papel antagonico me enamore de ella, ahora sigo su trayectoria muy de cerca, Manuel Ojeda, Cecilioa Gabriela, pero la mejor de todas fue Adelina interpretada por la señora Macaria, como fue capazde armar todo ese teatro para quedarse con la fortuna de don Octavio Rangel (Manuel Ojeda) los niños tambien actuaron bien, sin duda alguna hasta los personajes secundarios me guastaron, como no recordar cuando Toño (Lalo Santamarina) se escapa de la carcel, y con sus amigos planean todo para desemascara al desgraciado de Fabian,y como Toño lanza a Fabian ala sierra mecanica asi este quedandose sin una pierna, y como Fabian recibe su merecido en la carcel por violador! Me gusto todo, la historia, los actores, los villanos, el final de Adelina, la direccion de escena, el tema musical que se llamba El precio de tu amor igual que la telenovela, sin duda "El precio de tu amor" esta entre unas de mis 10 favoritas telenovelas, Don Ernesto Alonso siempre nos ofrece merlodramas de primer nivel, y si en Mexico la hubieran transmitido en el horario de las 8 o las 9 de la noche sin duda hubiera tenido mas exito como lo tuvo en mi pais que todos llegaban de donde sea para ver "EL PRECIO DE TU AMOR".

A pesar de ser una teleserie de Ernesto Alonso y de que el chileno Rodrigo Rochet actuó en ella, en Chile aún no la han exibido en TV abierta.

El precio de tu amor en Panama fue el boom del 2001 en verdad fue premiada como la mejor telenovela internacional junto con Betty la fea y Mi destino eres tu... aqui en Panama fue exitosa y es que era fresca y divertida...todavia me acuerdo lo de la rueda de la fortuna.. y todo.. fue magnifico..no se quedaba estancada sino que era fresca y nueva... magnificamente bella Eugenia Cauduro.

Fue una telenovela muy bonita, una historia muy bien escrita, el tema musical magnifico y las actuaciones fueron excelentes. La bellisima Eugenia Cauduro lucio en su personaje de Gabriela, una protagonista fuerte y a la vez muy tierna, Eduardo Santamarina muy bueno como el honesto y trabajador Antonio Rios y que se puede decir de los villanazos de esta novela, Yadhira Carillo, Macaria y Alejandro Avila... todos excelentes. Manuel Ojeda tambien hizo un personaje encantador. En fin muchas felicidades a Don Ernesto Alonso por esta produccion tan hermosa.
