Summary of Señora
Dolores is a victim of the low instincts of Julio Valencia. With this criminal Dolores has a daughter whom she believes dead, but in reality her daughter Isabel is alive and protected by two women. Tortured and humiliated, Dolores leaves the town, but before she tries to take a revenge for the supposed death of her daughter, and burns down the barn while Julio is in. Dolores hates all men, as well as she feels the implacable thirst of revenge. On the other hand, Isabel has only two firm objectives in her life: to find her true mother and to take a revenge on those who have sent her to prison. To hide her past Dolores changes her name to Victoria Santa Cruz, she is a cold woman with an uncontrollable hatred, she is only interested on her own pleasure and well-being. She marries Omar with the only purpose to posses his money and social status. Omar is only an instrument that she needs to carry out her objectives, she manipulates him and his two daughters.

Excelente "remake" de una telenovela venezolana, de idéntico nombre, de finales de los ochentas. Aquí la estupenda actriz Julieta Egurrola estuvo FORMIDABLE en su papel de "Victoria Santacruz", una mujer tremendamente fría y calculadora, dueña de un pasado muy traumático. Aparte de la señora Egurrola, también hicieron un gran trabajo en "Señora", los actores: Héctor Bonilla, Fernando Ciangherotti y Roberto Montiel, éste último en el rol de "Julio Valencia", responsable de todas las desdichas del personaje de "Dolores", quien después cambia su identidad por la de "Victoria Santacruz". Por su lado, las actrices Aylín Mujica, Ana Claudia Talancón (hoy convertida en una de las más cotizadas figuras del nuevo Cine Mexicano después del éxito internacional de la película: "El crímen del Padre Amaro", que ella protagonizó junto a Gael García) y Cristina Michaus estuvieron realmente SENSACIONALES en sus respectivos personajes. Y ni se diga del tema central de "Señora", interpretado por el cubano Francisco Céspedes, pues era PRECIOSO. Ciertamente, "Señora", fue el gran suceso de Televisión Azteca del año 1998. Lamentablemente, esta producción de la señora Alejandra Hernández no tuvo el éxito que se merecía aquí, principalmente porque la pasó un canal pequeño: La Red (hoy Red Televisión), el que en aquel tiempo era de propiedad de Televisión Azteca.

Y PARA TEMINAR LA MALVADA CRISTINA MICHAUS SE LLEVA ELA PREMIO POR SU PAPEL DE "MALDITA". EL TEMA DE FRANCISCO CESPEDES ES DE ANTOLOGIA MUY BELLA CANCION PARA LA ENTRADA DE LA TELENOVELA. AH ME OLVIDABA AUN NO PUEDO OLVIDARME EL VIOLENTO Y SANGRIENTO FINAL DE LA MALVADA CRISTINA MICHAUS. BRAVO POR TV AZTECA.
