During the Second World War, Chantal and Pierre Duhamel are members of the French Resistance. Adrian Duval, who is a Duhamel's friend, joins them. He falls in love with Chantal. Then Pierre is killed by the Gestapo, Chantal is arrested and Elise (her maid) escapes with Chantal's son to Marseille looking for Adrian. During the voyage the bus is bombed and Elise meets Adrian in an hospital, but she has lost her memory. She doesn't remember which of the three children saved in crash is Chantal's son. Adrian takes away Elisa and the children to America. Chantal is in a concentration camp where the Captain Von Natch falls in love with her, but she doesn't correspond to him. After the war, Chantal is set free and at the Nuremberg Process she would like to testify in Captain's Von Natch favor but he desires to be punished for his crimes... Then Chantal will be an important French actress and she will marry her manager Georges Pelise but all her thoughts are about her lost son...

Recuerdo que en esta telenovela se trataba el tema del Nazismo y se tocaba el tema de la pelicula DONDE LAS AGUILAS SE ATREVEN con Clint Eastwood.
