He revisado los comentarios anteriores y hay ciertos que tienen razon, la novela tiene un bonito mensaje. Susana Gonzalez es una linda y excelente actriz, se esta consagrando, ella hace la novela con sus actuaciones tan reales. Cynthia Klitbo se pasa de la raya haciendo el papel de villana, no me parece que es normal, al contrario muy sobreactuado. En otras ocasiones la he visto mejor. Eduardo Santamarina es lindo, tiene muy bonita quimica la pareja, el comentario negativo es que el elenco junto en general no hace tanta quimica.

Esta muy buena la novela, aunque ya queremos que Niurka aparesca en otra telenovela fuera de las que hace su marido, buen elenco aunque ya no es un remake de Velo de novia sino parece el remake de Yo no creo en los hombres.

When i first saw this novela in mexico, back in july; my cousins and i thought that show was a riot. first of all, the acting is terrible. paquita should stick to singing, not acting. she looked like a statue. ive taken theatre and i know that that is bad acting. secondly, what is up w/ andrea's dad getting pissed off about everything. i mean c'mon. and lastly, if the raquela character was supposed to be concieted and pretty, then they should have gotten a good looking lady, not that she-male they have playing.

Lo interesante de esta historia es que Jullissa reailzo la primera version en 1971 y ahora en esta entrega ella interpreta a un personaje de reparto.

I'm surprised about all the comments I just read about the novela. I can feel something is weird and about to happen here. It smells like is getting an extension, Juan Osorio is doing the same thing as in Marisol, get rid of main characters and substitute them with characters that we never thought they were going to come out. Like Carmen Salinas, she's obviously subtituting Paquita la de Barrio. I really hate the fact that Univision always changes the main musical theme in all Juan Osorio's novelas, I really like the song "De Corazon a Corazon" instead of "Fotografia". After reading about the killing of one character and all that shit, I really don't want to watch it again. I'm so pissed off because they're showing "El Manantial" at 7pm. It needs to be later!!!

Creo que "Velo de Novia" es una buena novela. No tanto como esperaba pero si esta buena. Me sorprendio muchisimo que muriera Jose Manuel y claro parece que querian salir de todo el viejo elenco para introducir personas nuevas que no saben actuar tan bien como los anteriores. Por ejemplo el actor que hace el papel de el primo de Rachela es un desastre! Espero que la trama mejore por que hasta hacen dos dias la novela me encantaba y salia de mi trabajo corriendo para verla pero no se ahora. Respecto a Niurka, siento que sobre actua y hace demasiadas muecas. Tambien he visto a Cinthya hacer mejores papeles de mala... creo que tienen que hacer revision en ese libreto! Ah! Azael Villa Señor murio de una manera demasiado buena para lo malo que fue en la novela...

Me parece una novela interesante con una buena historia y muy bien hecha pero me parece que cambiaron la historia de la novela porque se trataba de una corazon de Jose Manuel y Andrea que asia tan bonita pareja pero lo bueno es que Eduardo Santamarina sigue siendo el protagonista con Susana Gonzales que ase una pareja perfecta deverian ser novios.

Hell no, Velo de novia sucked cause Jose Manuel died but here comes his twin and practicaly of course Andrea is going to stay with him cause Eduardo Santamarina is fine plus all those new actors that went in after Jose Manuel died are too seriously the cheapest actors and ugly. Plus I dont think Susana Gonzalez (Andrea) would want to make a scene of kissing or anything like that because she is way too pretty for them plus she is way too good of an actress for them. But other than that Velo de novia is the bomd. I only watched this because Susana Gonzalez was in and Eduardo.

HORRIBLE novela. I am so disappointed. This really sux!!!! I liked the story line at the beginning, but now it is so boring that it will put a person to sleep. Andrea's character is stupid - she was a clothing designer for God's sake, and now a NURSE!!! Stupid-simply stupid. UGH!!! Juan Osorio really messed this one up. I can't believe he killed off the main character!!! And to top it off - he killed everyone else or sent them away! And it is my personal opinion that Eduardo Santamarina is not good as a main character and neither is Susana Gonzalez. There is no chemistry there - AT ALL! The entire cast other than Angeles and Raquela fit into this novela. I would have liked to see better actors portray the characters. I rate this novela a BIG FAT "0".

I think the director is the same guy who played the really, really evil villian who kidnapped Kate del Castillo in the most recent version of Derecho de Nacer. He was a great actor. Too bad we're not going to see him this time.

Well to me esta telenovela empezo all right, but then when Jose Manuel (Eduardo S.) died know that freak me out. And like you guys say como que Juan Osorio volvio a escribir la whole telenovela again that's wrong because I got more confused. Many people died in this novela specially Paquita she was great porque murio man! Y para Susana Gonzales she is such a great actress es mi favorite me gusto su actuacion en "Entre el Amor y Odio", "Amigas y Rivales" and much more... Eduardo Santamarina es muy guapo pero lo le queda el papel de what's his name... Jorge Miranda no se ubiera muerto desde al principio, but oh well we can't do nothing about it.

As a gringo who recently discovered "Novelas", I use to sit glued in front of the TV when Velo de novia came on. But after Azael cried like a baby in jail and then cried like a smacked baby when he took the wrong medicine I started to lose interest. The final straw was Ricarda blowing away Jose and not one person in the entire church could stop her (come on now). Seeing Jose on his death bed and Andrea on hers (did she get shot or just had a case of the vapors?) was novela hell. Since then, the plot has been crap. The only thing good about the new concept is Vida's new dance costume which shows that being overweight a bit ain't bad.

Desde que cambiaron de artistas esta novela ya no me gusto. Ya no tiene nada interesante. Si Eduardo Santamarina de todos modos volvio a salir porque supuestamente se murio no entiendo. Tan bonita que estava la telenovela que desilucion.

I like this novela a lot because Eduardo Santamarina comes out. I would've loved to be Andrea just to be with Eduardo Santamarina. He seems like an interesting person and he is a great actor. I love him. I think people who said that it was a bad novela need to think it over.

Velo de Novia...what is there to say? I believe they just added this novela cuz there was nothing else to do, and there was nothing else to fill in that 8 o' clock hour. In the beginning it looked like it would be a nice cool novela, but as you watch it, every character that you have been so use to and feel so comfortable with they either seem to: die, dissapear, or go away. This is totally ridiculous! Juan Osorio did a terrible job. I thought that maybe with the new characters, I would learn to love them, but I was so wrong! Arturo is hella ugly, and not to mention his girlfriend Virginia! Ugh! Poor thing she is full of wrinkles! Also the whole thing of Jose Manuel dying, and some stupid abogado taking his place. And what is up with Andrea getting raped!!?!! Is like, there is never a happy moment in this novela, everything is bad, shit always happen. This totally sucks! Thank God that we have Nina amada mia after it, to heal me from my headache that Velo de la Pendeja Novia gave me. Plus what the hell does the title has to do with the point of the story???

This is the best telenovela I ever watched. Only I dont like because the main character dies. I was very sad when I saw that. Eduardo Santamarina is the most beautiful guy in the world, but I like him like Jose Manuel. And about Andrea. She is very beautiful and clever and she is great pair with Eduardo. I repeat, I dont like because the main character DIES.

Bueno primero que nada la novela esta muy bien por que sale mi galan Eduardo Santamarina, el es el mejor actor en la novela Velo de novia. Pero si la regaron mucho que primero se muere y ahora resusita. Me viera gustado que Andrea viera tenido un nino de Jose Manuel y vieran sido muy felizes.

I really like this novela, but Jose Manuel should had never died. The producer should had added more chemistry between the two actors Susana Gonzalez and Eduardo Santamarina. I dont like the new character Jorge because if he is in love with Andrea why dont he leave Raquela and get with Andrea, I mean it's so obvious that Raquela is not pregnant. She keeps saying "Oh I cant go to your doctor friend because I'am seeing some other doctor". Jorge is a real idiot. I still like the novela, but Entre el Amor y el Odio was better. It had more chemistry with the main characters. I also think that Andrea shoud had took her advantage when she and Jose Manuel were alone in the room of the ranch.

Velo de Novia es una telenovela excelente... A pesar de todas las críticas que ha tenido y de los cambios que ha sufrido yo creo que fue una novela impresionate que interiorizó el mensaje de la Donación de órganos y creo que cumplio con su meta. Pero ademas con los protagonistas yo estoy más que satisfecha pues tener en la pantalla a la nueva reina de las telenovelas como lo es Susana González es todo un placer, pues ella nos demuestra una vez más la gran capacidad actoral que tiene, y el gran futuro que se le avecina, pues puedo asegurar que esa hermosisima mujer va a llegar muy lejos. Y bueno Eduardo Santamarina que es una actoraso de primera y por supuesto es un bombonaso. Yo creo que hacen una pareja divina y ojala tambien estuvieran juntos en la vida real pues en la pantalla derraman muchisimo amor... Pero bueno quiero decirles a todos los que la critican o criticaron que yo la apoyo al igual que muchisima gente, pues es junto a Amor Real, la mejor telenovela que he visto en mi vida (segun mi opinion).

Carmen Salinas was born in 1933, therfore, she must have been 69 or 70 years old, which seems the most ridiculous, since Andrea and Anny are young women, also Jorge's and Vida's contacts are so much fake, it started good, but when Jose Manuel died, everything changed for worse.

Sin lugar a dudas, un fiasco este melodrama barato de Juan Osorio, experto en ofrecer argumentos que caen en lo estereotipado, en lo aburrido, en lo absurdo. Demasiadas anécdotas de relleno y otras se han visto tantas veces, que ya ¡chole! Niurka es una actriz que puede ofrecer un trabajo decente, y lo demostró en TRES MUJERES, pero tanto aquí como en SALOME, bastante sobreactuada y encasillada en el rol de "la mejor amiga de la protagonista", en su "carnala"...

Although I did not like the fact that they killed off Jose Manuel (I was happy to see that they brought him back as Jorge because I was not gonna watch it any more if Eduarado Santamarina wasn't in it) and that there are a few scenes that don't make sense. I would have to say that it's a beautiful love story between the rich guy and the poor girl. I think it brings to life every girls dream of marrying a handsome rich man that loves you to death. Oh by the Andrea and Jose Manuel/ Jorge make a beautiful couple in this novela. I enjoy watching this novela.

I think that Susana Gonzalez and Niurka Marcos stole the show. They are wonderful. In the first part Andrea shows her sweet sensitive protagonista role then she turns into a strong and powerful women. And the battle for the Velo is the best.

Velo de novia 2 is the best novela I have seen before in my life, I like it, I like the characters just the way they are, I hope the same characters could be continued with the same Velo de novia or another novela because they are the best charcaters, I mean Susana, Eduardo and Cynthia, I like them 3 they are doing a great job, they should keep up good job, but its ending and when it finishes I'm gonna cry because I dont want it to be over, I love it keep up Susana, Eduardo and Cynthia...

Velo de novia is the best soap in the world. And Raquela is the best character there is. Andrea is a loser, and the only thing I hate about Velo de novia is they burn Raquela toward the end. It is the best there is to me any way. Eduardo Santamarina is hot but Cynthia Klitbo is the best! She is a really Good actress. SHE IS THE BEST. And I hope she will be happy with her baby that she wants so badly, and her b-friend as well. Anyways Velo De Novia is #1 on my list, and Juan Osorio did a good job. I love it so much that I have my planner covered with Raquela and Jose Manuel. And even though he died Jorge is just as good as he is...

I like the novela!! I like it because it's not all about sex. All the others novelas are the same. This one finally has something different. You couldn't predict what was going to happen like the rest of them.

Juan Osorio no es tan gran director como se cree o lo hace creer Cristina. Es ridicula la historia de Velo de Novia y mucho enfasis en la carcel y maldad. Niurca es una victima mas de este tal director que se las da.

I would love to see more of Jorge Robleto. I started seeing the novela with my Mom 4 months ago and have been hooked since. I saw the ending last nite and much to my dismay. They should have never killed off Dona Malvina. Andrea leaves jail and right there her mother gets killed. Not what I ever expected. I wanted to see a little more torture for Castillo, Enriquetta and especially Raquela. Would love to know again more about Jorge Robleto and Andrea Robleto what a fantastic couple. I wonder if they are truly in love in real life...

Well I tend to disagree with it being a bad novela. I loved it! For the first time, I was interested because usually in novelas you can pretty much bet on who dies and who doesn't. This was the first novela where anything goes and it was full of surprises. I enjoyed the fact that at the end Andrea finally gets to be happy with Jorge (the double of Jose Manuel) and that Jose Manuel and Angeles ghost come to see the happy ending. I give it two thumbs up!

I loved this novela, it is one of the best I have seen I think that when Jose Manuel died it was a good thing becuase it didn't get boring with the same characters, I think the villians in this novela were great especially Enriqueta del Moral, she gave me nightmares.

Yo no se quien te dijo que Marlene Favela trabajo bien porque ella no sabe ni actuar. Ahi los que trabajaron bien fueron los protagonistas Susana Gonzales, Eduardo Santamarina y Cynthia Klitbo. Quizas otros pocos por ahi tambien.

Bueno, esta novela la estan dando aqui en Puerto Rico y aunque o es la mejor telenovela esta buena de todos modos. Las mejores actuaciones son las Imanol, Cynthia Klithbo, Joemy Blanco, Susana Gonzalez y Luis Fernando Torres haciendo de Azael cuando chico. Lo peor Paquita la del Barrio.

Maybe this novela turned out so horrible because of Niurka?? I mean because of what was happening in front of Juan Osorio's nose between Niurka and Bobby. To my understanding, this romance started during the filming of Velo de Novia. Juan sure saw everything and he was not really into the novela anymore. Overall, I'm not a fan of Juan Osorio's novelas, but this one was particularly bad, and there must be a reason for that.

I would like to say that Velo de novia is my favourite telenovela :) My boyfriend Lukas watches it too :) It's the most interesting story I have ever watched. The actors are great:) Congratulations!! Eduardo and Alexis are very handsome and their play is the best!!!

Well, I think that Velo de Novia II, is an original story. Well its more like REAL LIFE, you know, not always people have great luck (I think about killing Jose Manuel) and I think that, this story will remain like Idea in next generations, like I for example, I'm planing to make Velo de Novia II remake, very soon.

Well, first of all, I don't know why everybody are saying bad things about this telenovela. I like all 'telenovelas' of Juan Osorio, and I think that he is an exelent producer. And, if you think better, this 'telenovela' seems more like our REAL LIFE! Think about it. It's not all JUST PINK, and HAPPY END stories. I'm watching Velo De Novia at the moment, and I have NO idea when is the end of this show. But what I can say about the show is that is Very Original Story, I like it, and JUST like it:)) Velo De Novia II is the best show that I have ever watched! I like the main characters, especially Andrea (Susana Gonzalez) and Jorge (Eduardo Santamarina), because they seem to like they have a truth relationship, and I like Raquela too:) They are all making a great acting team. I love you VELO DE NOVIA!!!!
